For Speedcar Champion Keith ‘Super’ Mann, good things come in 3’s.
Keith won 3 Australian Speedcar Championships, 3 West Australian Championships and represented Australia on 3 occasions in New Zealand during a racing career that spanned 24 years from 1967 through to 1991, amassing a staggering 43 feature wins at the Claremont Showgrounds Speedway.
Keith’s career highlight was his first Australian Title win at Adelaide in 1980 driving a Sesco powered Murphy Chassis.
Off track, Keith was an active member of the West Australian Speedcar Drivers Association. He was bestowed Life membership in 1987 and served as Chief Steward of Claremont and Motorplex Speedways for over a decade. Keith enjoys promoting the Speedcar section and mentor’s young drivers within the WASDA Community with the camaraderie of past era’s fuelling his passion for Speedway.
